My last teen years

hey hey!!My last teen years have come. Next year I will be 20 goodness...So it started with a impromptu birthday surprise by glenn, ct and darren on Wed ..Thks for the gift..Fri was spent with family @ Olive Tree. It is one of the worst buffet I have eaten. The seafood buffet which was suppose to be the highlight of the day was disappointing. It was so limited . Today met up with Khai where we lunched at Cafe Cova @ Paragon..We ate some cakes and quiche. Thank for the lovely gift khai...sry no photos taken..thks for all the well wishes and gifts . They were splendid..you folks mean a lot to me..

Its been some time since I just blogged. Nothing much has happened. Well, last Sat I went to the Peranakan Museum with Khai. Wanted to do something different besides shopping or beaching . Moreover, its freaking cheap , 2 bucks. Well it was back to my roots and it was so exciting to see all the paraphernalia and memobelia of the donors . Anyway , I got offered a place in NTU Mechanical Engineering and got invited for a Hi -tea session @ Meritus Mandarin...Thinking if I should go , feeling so lazy..This is not my ideal course,I am still waiting for my letter from NUS..pls give me Science!!

When Will This Long Wait End?

The anticipation for Uni offer is way worse than that of the actual results. Why is it taking so long? Some of my friends have already gotten theirs ie. NTU biz, accounts, fass. BTW went for my interview for NTU MAE. I sure did not expect so many interviewees.40++ . So mine was 3pm which I was late as I went to the wrong building . So overall, I felt that it went quite bad . There were 2 interviewers . The female Prof really grilled me. Not pinning too much hope onthat since I am not really interested in that course. Anyway, met my neighbour (pri skl mate ) there .What a coincidence. What I am really hoping for is NUS Science so I can read Quant Finance. Please pls fulfill my wish. Keeping fingers crossed. Please Let me see any UNI offer uin my mailbox.!!!

Back to Army life. Counting down my days till I ORD .19 mths more ah...

Cohesion Day

Such a boring title but I just can't think of a title which is more apt. Anyway started the day with the ususal jog followed by a frisbe game with the rest of the regulars. It was an enjoyable game where some showcased their " competitive edge". After that ,we headed to Nihon-mura for lunch. It was a treat by the regulars to show their appreciation for the hard work we had for the past year. When it comes to food, SOTC is undoubtedly the champions. We sure can eat. LOL. Overall food was fine . With a full stomach, we made our way to Bottleneck Park for our paintball session. This was so called the highlight of the day and everyone showed no mercy at the battleground . It was all in good fun rite. Anyway CO and Mm joined in too.Nobody dared to fire at them coz it will be tatamount to 7 extra duties . I'm surre they were joking right. Good effort though. Raven 2 Dinner at Sakura

Wow, it has been such a long time since I met up with Raven 2 . It was so nostalgic and really enjoyed it . Serg Leong ,Serg Faiza, Sir Luqman came too. Food was great and the company made it so special. It was so odd to address our commanders by their name so we sticked to Serg and Sirs . lol. Chit Chat alot. Quite a number of my Platoon got posted to Sispec. Auggy, Kian Long and Shafiq got OCS. Congrats to all . To those who are unsatisfied with their posting, we'll just have to move on.Serg Leong talked about some of the stuff we did during BMT all the punishments and some of the more " outstanding " platoon mates. It was hilarious. Although I did not complete my BMT , I do agree that BMT is truely the most FUN time of our lives. Cya mates do keep in contact!!

Ultra Mini Gathering

tue went up with some of the duds from S13 for a mini gathering . Sad to say attendence was bad. Nevertheless, we made good use of the company.Settled for Ajisen at Plaza Sing.I swear I will never step my foot into that restaurant ever again. Firstly , service was atrocious.It was so hard to call for a waiter. Secondly , the food SUX. It was so salty that I feel thirsty the entire night.My friend said its because I ordered miso based but I tasted miso based soup and its not so salty. The cashier too was rude. Overall, 1/5.

Next went to watch Step UP II at Cathay. The female lead was spanking hot. At first I felt she was kind of tom -boyish.But hey gals do look good in sweats too. Dance was nice comparable to that of the first if not better. It was pretty funny but the overall plot was overused was not impressed apart from the dance grooves.

Overall , it deserved 3/5 pop corns.

I am feeling so grumpy now. I am still stuck in office for the second consecutive time coz of my "ns" commitments. Had to stay overnight again. Freaking hell. So I have to wait till 11pm for the men to send arms but knowing this people it will sure delay to god knoes what time.We tried asking for half day leave but my superior refuse.Tough luck lol.

Mini Gathering cum Birthday surprise for our dear friend

Sat was one of our many gatherings to celebrate our 6 years of friendship and also Yi Tian B'day. So we decided to give Yi Tian a surprise at Vivocity. We created an album of the photos we took throughout the years and also pasted our well wishes for her inside. Time really flies. It has been 6 years since we graduated. After we gave her her surprise and cut the cake , we made our way to Brotzeit which serves German cuisine. K overrall the food was okay. Chatting over dinner brought back the fun memories we had . It was nostalgic. It was a pity some could not come .Nevertheless, we should meet up more often to catch up with one another .

Being posted out

Hey peeps, its been a long time since I last blogged. Well, I just got posted to Pasir Ris Camp as a Armskote from mon. Heard its a commando camp ..The problem is how to get there . The map attached is of little help apart from the bus services attached. Perhaps I need to research later or ask around . Ask about if its a stay in camp, they said it depends . Hope it isn't. On the bright side, I can now book out in civilian clothes already and not my No. 4.....

Me and my Shin

Well 13 Jan officially marked my one month stance at Tekong but it was in fact one of the worst days of my life. K my book in timing was 0630 so i woke up and prepared myself for my book in . Time 0525 i finished bathing and for god knows what reason I fell at the entrance leading the dining room to the kitchen. So I fell and hit the side tiles and the impact was so great that the tiles came out and cut my shin. The cut was 4cm deep and my bone was exposed. I was on the verge of fainting as I was hungry and bleeding profusely. Who would have thought that the fall would create such a catastrophe. My family members were distraught they panicked and at 0645 i reached CGH did admin work,X- ray and then the operation. All in all I had 3 stitches while the rest of the laceration was closed with sterisstrips . Oh ya before that they injected anaetesia to my cut .I swear i was freaking in pain I was biting my clothes for crying out loud. The bloody nurse can still have the nerve to ask if it was pain . Isn't it rhetorical .Perhaps it was just a routine question. So I had MC from sun to tue . My wound still bleeds whenever i move a bit and its so hard to walk coz the tension can be so great. I really dunno how I am going to walk all the way to company line . Forget abount the training I missed. There is just too many and I dunno how many remedia trainings I will have . I can't march ,walking is already a chore let alone bathing .Someone help me...ahhhhhhhhh .My wound is bleeding as I am blogging .Pls pray for my quick recovery.
